This XL version of the Nintendo DSi has twin 4.2-inch screens compared with the classic DSi's 3.25-inch displays. The microphone also features improved voice-recognition technology.

The Nintendo DSi XL has a built-in digital camera with 0.3-megapixel resolution, and a picture-editing application for touching up your photos with the stylus.

The DSi XL comes with two extra applications - a literature-edition brain training game and a 6-in-1 dictionary.
